A totally astonishing piece of football history. I was then a season ticket holder at Old Trafford and witnessed some of the greatest matches/comebacks in history and non more remarkable than the 1998/1999 season. First came the domestic Premier league trophy 16th May 1999 against Tottenham Hotspur with David Beckham and Andrew Cole getting on the score sheet.
Next up was the FA Cup Final against Newcastle United on the 22nd May 1999 with Paul Scholes and Teddy Sheringham winning the match 2-0. Finally to 26th May 1999 Camp Nou Barcelona in front of 90,000 me being one of them sat behind Oliver Kahn's goal losing 1-0 to the dying embers of the match and up stepped two substitutes Teddy Sheingham and Ole Gunner Solskjaer with the winner in stoppage time! They had reached the promised land. I can guarantee that Sir Matt Busby was looking down on us that night which would have been the great man's 90th Birthday. This fantastic montage from the Camp Nou signed by arguably the best United team of all time.
Philip Neville, Ronny Johnson, Yap Stam, Denis Irwin, David Beckham, Nicky Butt, Roy Keane, Jesper Blomqvist, Rayan Giggs, Dwight Yorke and last but no means least the winner Ole Gunner Solskjaer. Signed on the front of the menu from the Champions Lounge that the players had there meal in after the game. The montage also sporting the inside the menu of what the players ate.
